DESCRIPTION

It is a neoclassical building donated by Pyrgiotis land owner, Socrates Sylaidopoulos which is used for theatrical performances, film screenings and various cultural events. It is close lyconnected with the town of Pyrgos and its history, while in recent years it has been renovated after the expenses of Ioannis Latsis. According to historical references, the building was built between 1850 and 1900. With its monumental look and its elaborate and interesting morphology (marble-lined representations with marble capitals decorated with anthony) is a characteristic example of neoclassical architecture of the last quarter of the 19th century century.
