Swimming pool of Amaliada

The Amaliada Swimming Pool is located in the Amaliada Sports Center of the Municipality of Ilida. It consists of two swimming pools, one of whic his Olympic dimensions (25 m x 50 m) and the second child’s auxiliary. It has dressing rooms for adults (male, female) and children (boys, girls) while facilities for the disabled are provided. It also has a sauna, a practice room, a theoretical classroom and spaces for the administrative and technical staff.
The swimming pool complex is framed by a capacity of 1000 people, as well as a can teen for the service of athletes and visitors. The new swimming pool is the only one that operates in the country with the use of renewable energy sources, since the facility has taken advantage of geothermal and solar thermal (solar water heating).
