Athletic Center of Aghia Varvara in Pyrgos

It is an open-ended basketball court, which has been named one of the best in Greece. Recently it has been rebuilt, and the Athletic Center of Aghia Varvara (Saint Barbara), in Pyrgos, hosts every year during the summer basketball tournaments held in the area. In addition to daily basketball tournaments, individuals of every age – sports enthusiasts – visit the spot for their work outs or their hobbies.
The area of the Athletic Center is quite large and consists of three large basketball courts that are free to use for the public. In the summers, hundreds of sports fans watch the basketball tournaments taking place in the area with the participation of sports clubs and teams.
