International Festival of Ancient Ilida

Each year, during the summer months, the International Festival of Ancient Ilida, wins the interest of the world visiting the region to enjoy the rich spectacle offered by the cultural groups of the region and the whole of Greece participating in it. It is considered to be one of the biggest festivals in Ilia, along with that of Ancient Olympia, and it takes place for the most part in the Archaeological Site of Ilida. With key feature the theatrical performances at the Ancient Theater of Ilida and concerts in the historic Chlemoutsi Castle, the International Festival of Ancient Ilida, every summer, gathers a crowd from Greece and abroad to the Sacred City of Ilia to watch the rich events taking place here.
