DESCRIPTION

The busy commercial and commercial port of Killini connects Ilia with the islands of Ionian, Zakynthos and Kefalonia and every summer receives a large volume of tourists, both Greeks and foreigners. It has been an important node for transporting and handling citizens and goods for years. A characteristic feature of the Port is that it is the main gateway to the islands of Zakynthos and Kefalonia, since thousands of people from all over the world arrive at the Port of Kyllini with their destination, the diamonds of the Ionian Sea. The sound from the anchors that rise up, the ships that come and go, the visitors awaiting their journey, as well as the professionals who every day transport goods to and from Kyllini – and the other regions of Greece – compose the image of the Port of Killini, which deserves someone to visit not only to travel but also to admire its beauty. At the Port, there is a customs office and a Port Authority, while in the wider area you will find dozens of taverns for fresh fish and a vast beach for your summer dives. We could not omit the boats with professional and amateur fishermen who, every morning, bring their fresh catches to shore.
